Information BidWaypoint receives
When you request a review, BidWaypoint may receive your name, company name, contact information, agency, deadline, official bid links, bid documents and contractor facts supplied for comparison. Payment information may be handled by the payment method identified after scope confirmation.
How the information is used
Information is used to assess whether the request fits the current service scope, confirm timing and price, perform the requested review, communicate about the work and maintain necessary business records.
Bid packages and contractor information
Submitted documents and contractor information are handled privately and are not sold or shared for advertising. BidWaypoint may use service providers necessary for email, file handling, payment or site operation. Those providers process information as needed to provide their services. Information may also be disclosed when required by law or necessary to protect legal rights.
What not to send initially
Do not send confidential pricing, banking details, passwords, private keys, Social Security numbers or unnecessary personal information with the initial request. Start with the official bid link, agency, deadline and company name.
Retention
Information is retained only as long as reasonably needed for the review, business records, dispute prevention and legal obligations. You may request deletion of material that BidWaypoint is not required to retain.
Security
Reasonable care is used when handling submitted information, but no email, file-transfer or internet system can be guaranteed completely secure. If a package requires a different transfer method, confirm that before sending it.
Your choices
You may ask what information BidWaypoint holds about your request, correct inaccurate contact information or request deletion where retention is not required.
Changes
This notice may be updated as the service and its handling practices develop. The effective date above will change when a material revision is published.
